nice to finally meet you!

nice to finally meet you!

first, a bit about this website…

although this site first started as a design portfolio, i've always known that i wanted this to be so much more than "work."

on top of this website being a portrayal of my experience (someone please hire me [update: i was hired]), i wanted this to be a portrayal of me: a place where i could showcase what i was proud of, talk in my diction, obnoxiously express my personality and goals and fears, show my gratitude to those i talk to on the daily, and show love to those i no longer keep in contact with.

this is a more vulnerable site, so it means a lot that you're here! and it means even more than you're reading this!!!!! i would love it if you reached out.

so with that said, this webby is still a work in progress! i will continuously keep trying to make this something i'm proud of.

thank you for being here! ( )

FINALLY: some me time

Born & raised in San Jose, California, I'm a junior @ 🍚 University studying the two incredible tools I use daily: computer science and cognitive science (psychology concentration)!

I came into university thinking for sure that I was going to be a UI/UX designer — and added the CS major just to try out — but later decided I wanted a more problem solving role. I adore design and am getting more and more comfortable with development (there's a lot to learn), which means I'm simultaneously designing and coding on the daily (while dabbling at PM-ing, but that's another story 😗). So I'm a code-proficient designer / design-proficient developer — however you like to call it.

So… I design, I code, and I do all sorts of product stuff — which are all cool and incredible — but nothing beats executing an idea and deep diving into the people side of things. I like to think I "create" instead: creating products & relationships with the people I love and create with/for… both of which I try to do with a heart-first approach.

i am very blessed… and have so many people to thank!

Gratitude is very, very important to me. And it just so happens I have a lot to be grateful for!

With that said, below are some well deserved shoutouts of some talented, lovely human beings who have helped me succeed or made life more bearable (LOL). Please check them out!

Born & raised in California, I'm a junior at Rice University studying the two incredible tools I use daily: computer science and cognitive science (psychology concentration)!

I came into university thinking for sure that I was going to be a UI/UX designer, but later I realized I found it repetitive and unfulfilling. Three years later, I'm now recruiting for SWE/PM! All of these skills are cool and incredible, but nothing beats executing an idea and deep diving into the people side of things.

So with that said, I design, I code, and I do all sorts of product stuff, but I like to think I "create" instead: creating products and relationships with the people I love and work with… both of which I try to do with a heart-first approach.
