who we are

RiceApps is the premier software consulting organization at Rice University… hosting some of the best software talent at Rice University: ran by 70+ product managers, tech leads, developers, and designers!

Our mission is to create free apps for social good — partnering with billion dollar nonprofits, local startups, and Rice initiatives — and to create the best possible community for motivated Rice engineers who want to do just that.

As someone who’s been part of RiceApps all four years, it’s been a privilege to serve as president for the past two. In this role, I’ve managed everything from finance and partnerships to recruitment and team coordination… securing funding, mentoring devs and designers from 200+ annual applications, facilitating collaboration among 70+ designers, PMs, and developers, leading the executive team, and ensuring every project is successfully deployed to our clients!
