Grace Wang, manager

To quote what I told Alex, I want to be like Grace when I grow up. Aside from being a warrior of a women in tech, she’s also the best manager I could’ve ever asked for and exactly the type of person I needed during the early stages of my career. I will strive to have even just half of the leadership and passion she has for the work she does and the people she cares for!

Zach Riegel, mentor

Is he on LinkedIn? Nope. Is he going to read this? Also probably not. Am I still going to thank him? Absolutely. Mentoring an intern is never easy, but Zach made me a much better engineer, helped me fall in love with coding and product all over again, and showed me what great engineering really looks like. A huge reason over why I'm returning to Verkada!

My lovely recruiter who made this whole experience happen (and gave me plushies). As someone who went through a grueling recruitment process and witnessed worse, I can confidently say that having a good recruiter changes the game. With that said, Alex, I genuinely cannot thank you enough for making it possible for me to join Verkada, to become a campus ambassador, and just all around have an incredible internship experience. It really only takes one wonderful recruiter taking a chance on you!
